The marking of Ghana's 50 years of Independence and 200th anniversary of British Abolition of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, together with the year long festivities give Real Life Pan-African Documentary Film Festival significant contexts within which to strengthen our objectives as well as show more historical films on independence movements in the Pan-African world while developing a broader audience base.
